Deliveries: We deliver by courier and orders received by midday on Monday are despatched on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. We will endeavour where possible to arrange delivery on a specific day when requested to. Saturday deliveries can be arranged at an extra charge. Delivery charges cover most of the UK, however, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Eire and the Channel Islands are subject to delivery surcharges. Please contact us for details. The courier will require a signature upon delivery unless alternative specific instructions have been arranged. Where the courier is unable to find someone to accept delivery they will either deliver to a neighbour or leave a card at the address for the recipient to make contact. If the recipient does not make contact within 3 days, the goods are returned to English County Hampers and a charge will be made for re-delivery. The purchaser will also be charged for items which have become unsuitable for sale such as cheese or other perishable goods with short shelf lives. English County Hampers cannot accept responsibilty for non delivery if recipient’s address or telephone number are incorrect.
Description and Quality: We make every effort to deliver your hamper according to the description in our literature and web site, however, we reserve the right to substitute any goods which may not be available, for any reason, in which case we will use goods of a similar type with at least the same value.

Payment: We accept payment online by VISA, MasterCard and Switch/Maestro. You can telephone your order and pay by card at the same time. You may fax your order and we accept payment by Cheque or Postal Order made payable to 'English County Hampers'.We will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent. We can only despatch your goods once payment has been paid in full.
Cancellation of Orders: Customers retain the right to cancel their order by informing us within 7 working days of receipt of the goods, and returning the goods to us. A full refund will be given less a charge for perishable goods which cannot be resold. Goods are returned at the recipients’ expense and will only refunded if they arrive in good condition.
Claims: Claims for loss or damage caused in transit will be met provided that goods are signed for upon receipt as either "damaged" or "unexamined" and the carriers and ourselves are informed at once and confirmed in writing within three days of delivery. Damaged goods will be collected by courier and the recipient entitled to a replacement.
Retention of title: Goods remain the property of English County Hampers until paid for in full. |

Alcohol: It is illegal in the UK to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol. No persons under 18 years of age may place an order with English County Hampers if the goods contain alchohol.
